Nightmare it might be, but it is the most likely. The Republicans have made it clear that they see this as a battleground. And have a history of putting ideology ahead of the country.

A big part of the stimulus is tax breaks... when have the Republicans ever voted against tax breaks? They are not breaks for 'their folk', but still... how can they explain voting against tax cuts?


Uh......they will explain that trickle down doesn't cover the middle class; just the upper classes. Well maybe the very extreme of the upper middle class who have the potential to enter the upper classes. That's it.
