Is there something else for an ex-senator, ex-almost-president to do?

Let's see, he could join Jimmy in his Habitat project, but he might have to pick up a hammer or actually do some work. Or maybe go on a world-wide peace crusade like Jimmy did - have meetings with terrorist organizations like Jimmy did - coddle the enemy so to speak. But how do you make money doing that?

He could try to do what Reagan & Clinton did and give speeches for mega-bucks. But wait, they actually had something to say and they'd earned the chops to be able to do that.

Can't you just hear the meeting with his PR agency? "Algore, you need something to say in these speeches if we're going to book them. You need a cause. You need a following of people who will support that cause. Nobody owns the green movement yet. You could take ownership of that. Let's start with a book, then we'll do a documentary, then we'll nominate you for a Nobel Prize. Once we get it rolling, it will be a self-perpetuating business with lots of money-making opportunities. Then you won't have any trouble paying that electrical bill or buying the fuel for your private planes."
