Who Has Destroyed More, the Arabs or the Zionists?
(This essay was written by Rabbi Elconon Wasserman zt'l after the disturbances in Hebron in 1929
which left some 50-60 yeshiva students dead and is very apropos
the most recent events on the West Bank. Ed.)
Who is to blame for the frequent riots in the Holy Land? The answer to this question, is obvious to all those who read "Hebrew" newspapers. The Mufti is to blame, the short sighted politics of the British High Commissioner is to blame, the Italian agents are to blame. Everyone is to blame but we are free of guilt. This is in our Holy Land. In various other countries -- each one has someone like the Mufti and his gang and it is just a coincidence that these muftis all created at one time in these various countries. This belief (that they are all just coincidence, Ed.) is upheld by every periodical of "ours" and as a result ways must be found to tackle each incident separately. There are various ideas of how to rid ourselves of these occurrences. But the main theme everyone agrees on is that what must be demanded from all; to give money (shekolim) and to give over and over again. (A shekel was the Zionists' innovation that anyone to be able to vote for delegates to the Zionist Congresses must pay the "shekel", Ed.)
But this happening is not constant, for what is by chance is not constant and what is constant is not chance. And if we will look at the constancy of the chance occurrences of late, we will have to admit, that there is some hidden hand turning the axle of these events toward us very quickly and with much force. But it has already been written "if you will crush the fool with a pestle among the cornstalks his foolishness won't abandon him", for he will think the pestle is to crush the cornstalks and not him, as the saying goes: if you hit a fool on his head, he will say it is thunder.
Since we already know the opinion of the "Hebrew" journalists, we will try to search in the Torah and hear what it has to say of the happenings in our Holy Land. And when we only begin to look into this, we see immediately that the Torah's view is completely different from that of "our" journalists. It is sufficient to write just a little of the abundant material in the Torah on this subject. R' Yochanan Ben Zakkai cried out and said: happy are you, Israel, when they fulfill the Almighty's will, then no nation or tongue has power over them and when they do not fulfill the Almighty's will, they are handed over to a lowly nation. The meaning of "happy are you", in the second respect, is that the degradation isn't ordinary, but comes against all possible logical accounts, so there will be no room to argue (for one who does not wish to go wrong) that it is a coincidence. Like a father who is disciplining his son, and must let him know that he is being disciplined, and if the punishment comes in a vengeful way, G-d forbid, then the Providence would not be so obvious, as it is written "Who causes the nations to sin and destroys them" and more "this is the system of the portion of the Torah, you must keep the commandments of G-d, for this land is better than all other to those who keep His commandments and worse than all other lands to those who don't keep the commandments (Rashbam, P'Akev) and refer to the Rambam at the end of the P"Archarei on the words "And the land was defiled, etc."
There, in the verses, the sin of idol worship is mentioned together with the sin of forbidden relationships -- which are punishable by having the land spew out inhabitants. Let us not sooth ourselves by saying, we don't have this sin in our midst. Anyone who says this is mistaken. For the sin of heresy is much worse than the sin of idol worship. As is learned from the sentence in the Torah regarding these two sins. In addition the idol worshippers of that time did so out of desire: as the cursed woman said -- "since we have stopped bringing incense to the kingdom of heaven we are missing everything" while the anger, of which is written: "And G-d saw and was angered by the anger of his sons and daughters." And those who rebel against the Kingdom of Heaven bring upon themselves rebellion on earth, as they are compared to snakes, "the nations will see and be ashamed, etc., they will like the dirt like a snake", when they do not do His will, just like the snake who incited Adam and Chava in order to have them wiped off the earth, so I will incite against you the Kutium who are compared to snakes.
And if we now had a true prophet, he would cry out: Inform Tel Aviv of its abominations. This is the Jewish city which supports schools that give their students and irreligious or anti-religious education, at best an irreligious education? Meaning they are raising atheists for personal desires or just for the sake of angering. At the very least for desire. And the national funds are supporting Yevseketzia who declare loudly "our religion is to uproot Judaism." And our Agency (the Jewish Agency, Ed.) is busy with supplications -- in the necessary places (by the Mandate authorities and League of Nations, Ed.) -- to ensnare in its net the quote of wealthy people, they must have the power to sift rich people with the Agency sieve which collects the inedible and throws away the food.
(Orthodox Jews seeking certificates to enter the Holy Land under the British Mandate quotes given over to the Zionists, only received a very small percentage. At first 6, then 200 per year, then 100 per year, given over to I. M. Levin of the Agudah. Wealthy people with capital could enter Palestine over and above the quota and thus some Orthodox anti-Zionist Jews entered in the twenties and thirties. The Zionists couldn't stomach that Orthodox Jews were entering Palestine on their own and may possibly be able to thwart their secularization plans; so they tried to get the Mandate authorities to agree that they also be able to control this "aliyah" so as not to permit entry to Orthodox Jews. This is what Reb Elchonon Wasserman means by checking if they have tefillin. Ed.)
And because of our many sins, from the incidents with the Arabs tens of our brothers were killed, but not G-d forbid thousands. But from "National" education hundreds of thousands of Jewish souls are being lost forever -- and who is responsible for this innocent blood? Not the Gentiles! But we, who support the inciters in all places where there are Jews, and have made iron horns with which to stab Israel and its Torah, and how can be justify this terrible treachery -- to support evil people in their battle against G-d?

A Website for Seekers of Truth About Zionism

This site was created to provide historical documentation refuting the misconception that all Jewry supports Zionism (the existence of the so-called "State of Israel") for website visitors seeking information on the history of Zionism, its historical and current day impact on the Jewish community worldwide and the danger it presents to us all.

For decades renowned Rabbinical leaders and scholars have opposed the creation of a "Jewish State", supporting their opposition with words of the scriptures and of the Torah, as being diametrically opposed to the ideology of Judaism. We have provided many such quotations for the inquiring website visitor who is seeking such information.

Although there are those who refuse to accept the teachings of our Rabbis and will continue to support the Zionist state, there are also many who are totally unaware of the history of Zionism and its contradiction to the beliefs of Torah-True Jews.

Learn more about Zionism And Anti-Semitism

This article provides more information that demonstrates that far from being the saviors of the Jewish people, the Zionists are the true self-hating Jews who have had nothing but contempt and outright hatred for the Jewish people and Judaism. This article proves that anti-Semitism has been the oxygen and lifeblood of the Zionists throughout the ages to the present day.

By contrast, we anti-Zionist Jews having been doing all we can to reduce hatred of Jews by proclaiming the true nature of the Jewish religion in contrast to the heresy and idolatry of Zionism. We hope this will help Jews awaken from the brainwashing of the Zionists.

Over the recent years there has been a dramatic rise in hate rhetoric and hate crimes targeted toward Jews:

* In Turkey...horrifying suicide bombings at two synagogues left 25 people dead and hundreds more injured.
* In Britain...Scotland Yard recently warned Britain's Jewish Community that it faced imminent terrorist attacks after police spotted and questioned a group of "tourists" taking covert videotape of the Jewish community buildings in London.
* In France...a caution was issued after an arson attack gutted a suburban paris Jewish school--the latest incident in a frightening wave of French anti-Semitism.
* BBC - UK: "In recent weeks, a poll for the European Commission suggesting that EU citizens see Israel as the biggest threat to world peace caused outrage among Israelis."

Anti-Semitic acts are on the rise across Europe and beyond. From Antwerp and London to Berlin and Istanbul, Jews are living in fear.

On November 17, 2003 Zionist leader, Ariel Sharon, the Israeli prime minister, told Jews in Italy the best way to escape "a great wave of anti-Semitism" is to move and settle in the state of Israel. This has been the Zionist ideology from the beginning to the present time.

True Torah Jews is working hard to declare to the world the difference between Jews and Zionism. It is important that the people of world understand the difference and therefore not link the actions of Zionists to religious Jews. True Torah Jews is not alone in its assessment of the danger of Zionists to Jews worldwide. Jewish leaders in France, Turkey and Italy have recently spoken out against Zionists for using anti-Semitism for their benefits. For example,

* PARIS - 18 Nov. 2003 (Reuters) "Roger Cukierman, head of the Crif umbrella group of Jewish organizations, said Ambassador Nissim Zvili may have exaggerated the situation in the hope of winning immigrants for Israel. Zvili spoke of rising concern on Saturday after a Jewish school near paris was firebombed in an attack that prompted the government to launch a fight against a "new anti-Semitism", coming mostly from the immigrant Muslim community. "
* TURKEY - Tovah Lazaroff - 21 Nov 2003
"Turkish Jewish leaders accused Israel Thursday of exploiting the twin synagogue bombings Saturday to make a public relations point about anti-Semitism and immigration. Executive Vice president of the Turkish Jewish Community Lina Filiba called the Jerusalem post from Istanbul, upset about the way the Israeli media and officials have portrayed the bombings, particularly articles and comments talking about the need to bring Turkish Jews to Israel in light of the attacks anti-Semitic nature."
* OXFORD, BRITAIN - Brian Klug, a senior research fellow in philosophy at St Benet's Hall, Oxford, and a founder member of the Jewish Forum for Justice and Human Rights, published an article in "The Guardian" entitled: No, anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. He describes how the British foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour (sponsor of the 1905 Aliens Act to restrict Jewish immigration to the UK), wanted the government to commit itself to a Jewish homeland in palestine, his declaration was delayed - not by anti-Semites but by leading figures in the British Jewish community. They included a Jewish member of the cabinet who called Balfour's pro-Zionism "anti-Semitic in result".

It is for those who seek the truth that this website is maintained. We are also publicizing the position of True-Torah Jews through newspaper advertisements and radio broadcasts.

The History of Zionism & Judaism

The Jewish people, from its inception, has been unique by its identity as a religious entity. Through the centuries its religious character had been a premise agreed upon by Jews and non-Jews alike. Our faith demands as the fundamental condition for recognition as a Jew, belief and adherence to the word of G-d, as was revealed to our forefathers on Mount Sinai. This is in itself, according to the tenets of the Jewish religion, sufficient to fulfill the definition of a Jew. Our religious and traditional history bears no aspect of racism. Hence, one of non-Jewish origin is capable of being proselytized and attaining the same status as a born Jew. Conversely, one of Jewish birth who does not recognize his being bound to the Jewish Torah, is by Jewish law a heretic, and therefore forfeits his spiritual birthrights as a Jew.

The purpose of the Jew is to bear witness to the existence of G-d, through his adherence to the Torah. The Al-mighty granted the Jews the land of Israel as the particular setting which would serve as the most conducive atmosphere to their performance of their duties to G-d.

The Jews in ancient times were banished from the land of Israel because they had failed to fulfill their obligations to the Al-mighty. Every Jew acknowledges this in his prayers (Umipnei Chatoeinu Golinu Meiartzeinu). They accepted the penalty of exile and were at that time expressed sworn by the Al-mighty not to accelerate their redemption on their own, and especially not to rebel against the nations under whose rule they were found. To the contrary, every Jew is commanded to pray for the peace and well being of the government of which he is the subject.

Through all the years of exile, pious Jews as individuals were attracted to reside in the Holy Land because of its innate holy character and the opportunity it offered for the observance of various precepts bound in the land. Jews as a whole continue to pray that the Al-mighty return his Divine presence to the Land of Israel, by the coming of the Messiah, who will build His Temple, from whence will emanate Divine Wisdom and ultimate spiritual fulfillment of the entire human race.

Through the many years that Jews resided in the Holy Land for this purpose, they enjoyed tranquil and cordial relations with the non-Jewish population there.

The Zionist movement which was formed at the latter part of the last century, sought to endow the Jews with a nationalistic character which was heretofore strange to them. It sought to deprive them of their historically religious character and offered in substitution of faith in G-d and adherence to the Torah, and belief in their ultimate redemption by the coming of the Messiah, a nationalistic ideology and the possibility of establishing through political media, a Jewish national homeland.

During the period of the British Mandate, the Balfour Declaration, which recognized the eventual possibility of founding a Jewish national homeland, in Palestine, was affirmed to be the British government. The Jewish Agency, who then was the Chief representative of Zionist interests in the Holy Land, was entrusted with the issuance of visas to the Holy Land, thus resulting in an increased Zionist immigration from various parts of the world, which ultimately succeeded in superceding in numbers, the veteran Orthodox dwellers.

Orthodox Jewry all over the world and the Orthodox Community in the Holy Land in particular, immediately sensed in this stage of Zionist success, the threat of grave danger for the religious future of Jews. The Arab inhabitants began to exhibit open hostility to their Jewish neighbors. The British government failed to distinguish between the Orthodox community, who for generations in habited the Holy Land, and the newly arrived Zionist immigrants.

With the acquisition by the Zionist nationalists of the power to organize communities in Palestine, they formed the Vaad Haleumi Leknesset Yisroel (National Jewish Council Committee). This committee ignored the rights of the Orthodox veteran dwellers who did not recognize this validity of Jewish nationality, and whose identification as Jews was solely with their loyalty to their religious heritage. The religious inhabitants, on the other hand, shuddered at the prospects of spiritual disintegration of World Jewry, with the new rise to power of the Zionist nationalists.

The Orthodox inhabitants actively objected to being subject to the authority of the secularists. They appealed their cause to the League of Nations, who consequently granted them a "Right of exclusion" to the subjugation to the Vaad Haleumi, which rights provided that any Jew wishing not to be incorporated into the Vaad Haleumi, may remain lawfully independent if he so stated his wish in writing. Thousands of Jews did so.

Such was the case until November 1948, when the United Nations finally sanctioned the establishment of a Zionist State. We do not doubt that their success in finally realizing their goal was due in great measure to their having misled the world into viewing the Zionist cause as the Jewish cause. The formation of the Zionist state resulted in the automatic deprivation of the autonomy heretofore possessed by the Orthodox inhabitants of the Holy Land.

The Zionists grasped in the acquisition of their new powers, the opportunity to openly disassociate themselves from any identification with Jews as a religion. They systematically began to orient the minds of their generations according to the tenets of Zionist nationalism. Through the Ministry of Religions they employed part of the Rabbinate to assist them in their aims.

The religious Jews who by virtue of their faith, clearly contradicted Zionist nationalism, and who had lived peacefully with their Arab neighbors for generations, became unwillingly identified with the Zionist cause and their struggle with the Arabs. They requested the United Nations that Jerusalem be designated as a defacto international city. They appealed to the diplocatic corps assigned to Jerusalem -- but to no avail. They were hence confronted with the choice of either becoming a part of the Zionist State, which diametrically opposed the interests of Jews as a religion, or abandoning the land of which their forefathers were the first Jewish settlers.

We find it of supreme importance to emphasize that we are fearful of the consequences of the Zionist rebellion against the Creator, as stated expressly in Jeremich, "For it is bad and bitter your renunciation of G-d..." We wish not to be affected by the behavior of this government who in the name of Israel, persist in their renunciation and utter disregard of religious Judaism such as is clearly attested by their laws expressly permitting wanton autopsies (Law of Anatomy and Pathology, 1953), forcible desecration of the Sabbath (Law of Emergency Labor Draft 1967: PPS 1, 19; 27, 36), profanation of Holy Sites by retaining non-religious custodians, desecration of Holy Cemetaries by Safed, Beth Shearim and elsewhere, and countless more examples, proof of which is readily available.

Insofar as all human being find necessary the protection of their rights as human beings, we hereby request all those that find it within their power, to aid us in reacquiring the rights we possessed prior to the formation of the Zionist State*, to remain lawfully independent of the Zionist authority.

"Look at every power that has tried to oppress Jews. Egyptians, Babylonians, Romans, Nazis, etc."

If that was all the Jews had against them, things would have worked out better.

Look at the genetic disorders that concentrate in the Ashkenazi Jews and the things they protect against in those who are heterozygous. If they evolved such things in less than 100 generations and the genes are as frequent as they are, then the conditions in the ghettos had to be horrible.

That kind of Darwinnowing is a terrible oppression.
