No doubt, but Austin was rated as one of the most uncomfortable cities as far as heat index goes. Combine 80% humidity with 100 plus degree heat and you're THERE!

I was born in Houston, and am familiar with the humidity there.
Sweating is good for you!

I spent 6 years in Austin. Nothing like running across a summer time street barefoot and feeling your feet sink into the melting asphalt. We were much quicker then. -g-

The winters were fun. 30 mph blue northers cutting through winter coats like knives made of ice.
