>> Of those killed in the conflict, 4,228 have been Palestinians, 1,024 Israelis,

At no time have I discussed body counts on the two sides as being a meaningful measure of anything.

And there is a reason for that.

1 Palestinian is not equal to 1 Israeli.

The Israelis are innocent victims in this, while the Palestinians are terrorists and instigators. When the Palestinians launch a rocket or send a suicide bomber into Israel to kill innocents, Israel may choose to kill any number of Palestinian terrorists in response.

The life of a terrorist who is killed in battle certainly isn't the equivalent of the life of an Israeli sitting in a cafe minding her own business.

These Palestinian terrorists--most of those killed-- are nothing more than worms who are not worthy of becoming fish food. According to your link, nearly 1/4 of the Palestinians killed had unknown status -- they COULDN'T EVEN TELL whether they were terrorists or not. A figure that is almost certainly understated.
