Good observation. That is significantly lower than the previous lows of this past decade.

Either gold will fall or copper will rise.

For the next few weeks and possibly months, copper should overperform. Over the balance of the year, I am not sure. If a second collapse take place in the spring, then gold could retest the lows and copper make new lows.

A very tough call. Lets watch these markets very carefully.
