I'm doing my part. I give my presentation on coal (geology, paleobiology and mining) at three different schools now. At the end I have a "topics for discussion" section and one of them is "What about global warming?".

I point out the difference throughout the presentation between fact and opinion and with global warming I ask "Fact or opinion?"....everyone says FACT. of course. And I say, "yes, that is something we can measure and up until recently, there was definitely global warming, but it seems to have peaked and may even be reversing"

I then ask "is global warming caused by greenhouse gases?"...everyone of course says "yes!". And I ask "is that a fact or opinion?".....you get the gist of where that is going.

BTW: it's about 10 degrees out where I am....Colorado Springs. And I may be heading off to wyoming later this week....from chilly to downright freezing there.
