Depends on how much hamas degraded whether eu/un has enough time. Nato could come quick if someone in europe had balls. One of the problems of assymetric war is the time limit on military action before it becomes viewed by moderate folks the way it is viewed by some here. It looks horrific. I want to puke. I am a moderate who understands fp, self defense and the rest of it but you just cant go back to WW2 mindset. This might be what does the west in or eventually leads to the use of nukes. Since war is so ugly you might as well obliterate the enemy totally than have 7X24 coverage of the ravages of war in what is not perceived as a fair fight. Time to stop it soon.

leaving IDF with the option to either remain in Gaza or leave with no net change in the political problem.

Oh there will be a net change in the political problem......if anything, the Arabs will hate the Israelis even more than they hate them now.....something most people thought not possible.

Neos never quite get human nature.
