Black folks i know are embarrassed by his behaviour. For me as someone who doesnt know burris at all, he comes across as the class uncle tom working on Blagos plantation. I know that sounds harsh but that was my first impression. Can you imagine post-racial obama being replaced by uncle tom burris??? Ah he's an old guy spent his life in politics and never made it to the big time. Been out of it 10 years and suddenly has this one last chance... so he goes for it. Sure it's a mistake and pathetic but you have to sort of feel sorry for the guy. I guess you don't have to but I do.
