Of course (as any Supply Sider will tell you... let alone most any other sort of economist), the LONGER that the economic collapse persists, and the DEEPER that it becomes, then the *LOWER* the government's revenues will be and so the larger the deficits will also become....

Aren't we WAY past talk of "soft landings" and even "recessions"??

We're in a DEPRESSION, which most people seem to understand.

As the bankruptcy, unemployment, store closings, homeless increases, and all around DIRE news keeps coming in over the next 6 months it should become apparent to even those that are looking for the best way to get "political gain" out of the situation begin to realize it.
