On the other hand, GHE appear to have run out of cash, with no investment houses knocking at the door for private placements.

I agree. If you can do a private placement above the current market price to your own people that shows confidence and most brokerage houses would want their pound of flesh on top of a cheap price. All the houses are hard on juniors now.
