Stocks also fell because technically the markets are overbought.

I'm more worried about the economy than the markets.

Look for scores of corporations worldwide laying people off that they didn't want to lay off during the holidays, Ted. The first half of January should show some real employment carnage.

It may be bullish for the markets though! They like it when corps cut costs. On the other hand, there will be a lot less employed people to buy stuff, and the people still employed will be hunkering for the second wave of layoffs..
