cancelled or postponed a lot of stuff. Driving very inexpensive now. Almost cheaper than walking. I have stopped conserving. Small pleasures like an afternoon drive to the ocean still enjoyable to me. I think we need a gas tax to stem some of this impulse. I remember the good old days when gas was $4 but many more folks had jobs and credit and homes.
PS i think oil goes back down to the 30s after war

You laugh but once people get into the habit of conserving, they don't stop.

There is some of that. But SUV sales are going up and hybrid sales are going down. Amazing to me...
