There are three presenters on the TSCM that are pretty hard core trickle downers. And since Obama won, they have been whining and complaining mightily from time to time, warning that we are turning into the Soviet Union......as if that could ever happen given all the questionable propaganda about communism in this counry.....and that Obama is an extreme socialist. Sound familiar? I thought so.

In any case, this AM they started up again.....complaining about some commentor on CNBC who said FDR's New Deal manage to end the severe unemployment of the Great Depression. Nope, not according to these guys.......they complained mightily how people consistently get it wrong....that WW II is what ended unemployment in this country, not FDR. Then out of nowhere, this guy who rarely posts and has been non partisan to a fault comes on and says...here are the no spin facts. Unemployment peaked in 1933 at 25%......by 1937, it had dropped to just under 11% when we were hit with another recession. The unemployment rate spiked back up temporarily to 20% in 1938. Thereafter it resumed its down trend and reached 3.6% when the Japanese attacked Peal Harbor in 1941. Not a word from the three wingers. <g>
