The section about his parents is in the shaded part about half way down the lnk:

Damyanti and Subhash and Gupta

All the above are typical Hindu first or last names, so the Pakistan connection seems less likely. In any case, Pakistan was India till 1947 and one of the parents could have been born in what is now Pakistan.
