MSFT on the hand....that is a different type of beast. I don't know if investors are forcefully pushing MSFT for another 2-1 split but I believe the marketplace will prevail and drive it down to the low $100's range where it trully belongs. We tested $127 1/2 just briefly this week and I predict we will revist that level soon.
MSFT fell 1/16 on a down market...amazing how much strength small investors have...but it is only a matter of time before reality sets in.


I wonder just how overvalued MSFT is now... If you look at other blue chip companies with very reliable income if not very relioable growth(e.g., PG), MSFT's earnings growth rate of 20% or better comes close to validating its PE ratio. Not quite, but a PE of 40 or so looks justified compared to current market PE's.
