Brazil: Petrobras Denies Report

Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) denied Jan. 7 that it is requesting $15 billion in loans, Bloomberg reported. Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper reported that Petrobras was seeking the loans. An e-mail from Petrobras’ press office said the company’s financial status was “healthy.”
