in their update last night, the aden sisters mentioned that gold was the second best investment in 2008, after bonds. they are looking for a little short-term consolidation in gold and gold shares, saying the shares are overbought and that gold's A rise is getting long in the tooth, and it is time for a B decline, which tends to be moderate. that would set up gold for a C rise sometime soon (feb-april?) the C part of the ziz zag is the strongest part. that's what we saw last spring when gold broke through 1,000 for the first time.
