mainland china folks tightening belt but no pervasive panic

there is still way too much smiling in hk amongst too many, although some folks in the know are getting mighty nervous, for they see things this way come

women are forthrightly reporting husbands pay cuts, more on this later in the post

accountants report that
- folks who gamble for leisure are in trouble
- people who frequent night clubs are sensing trouble

the financial workers' pervasive sense is "my fate is in the hands of others. hope for the best"

headlines such as bloomberg.com "BOE Cuts Rate to Lowest Since Bank’s Creation in 1694" does not give comfort

2009 june-sept out to be interesting
2009 december, october, november, june, july, may, march, january and april should be as well

to be politically incorrect, it appears that women folks are in market for new boyfriends, as earlier fads for qualifications such as spendthriftness, physical fitness, and/or sense of humor make way for size of wallet combined with height of libido

by casual observation and sixth sense, i note that the ladies are now dressing seemingly more to move in for the quick, discerning, definitive and merciless kill, i.e. dark lingerie under white dress and light sweater - they are as good as advertsing availability for proposals, or so it seems

but as you say, <<almost every wallet will be closed up tight>>

the social mood is changing, little by little, for the worse

he should immediately change or even scrap many cold-war-era regulations on high-tech exports and on immigration by foreign scientists and engineers, an expert panel said Thursday

Note the protectionism for jobs being uncovered.
