In a messed up way, its actually good news. Some builders have to go under before the bottoming process for housing is done. It helps decrease new inventory. In a decent economy I agree... but this is starting to feed on itself. A couple of hundred more people out of work with virtually no hope of finding a job in their industry. There has to be a winnowing. Even after housing bottoms, we will not return to the production levels of 3 years ago...lower levels will not support all the builders in place right now.
