The ceasefire started in June of 2008.

When did the rockets start?

For the life of me I can't figure out the point of the rockets, they're not a good negotiating tool, they'll never defeat the Israelis with them and the international community doesn't seem to give a shit about them either.

So perhaps you have some nugget of wisdom regarding the purpose of the rockets?

I found the relief evident in this article's title to be interesting. If I were Israel, I would be worried that the area around them is becoming more and more a breeding ground for resistence groups and that the resistence has decided that firing rockets into Israel is the way to go.
