LOL, only on this board would stimulus-lovers be described as the dark side.

Speaking of selling out though, one of the discussion threads on CR today had some speculation about Roubini. His latest forecasts have pulled way back on the pessimism, he's consistently forecasting a weak recovery in 2010.

So the speculation is, he's deliberately pulling his punches for career reasons. Now he's famous, he's only giving his most optimistic scenarios and keeping quiet about the pessimistic ones. So that he can be accepted by the mainstream and maximize his curb appeal for lucrative speaking gigs, consultancy etc.

I'm inclined to think that may be true.
