The trouble with International Peacekeeping Forces is that thay aren't real motivated (or allowed) to really get at the root of problems.

I think there are peacekeepers in Lebanon now, but they aren't going to be going "head to head" with Hezbollah any time soon.

If we get peacekeepers in Gaza it will be the same thing and Hamas will be able to re-arm and eventually take over the West Bank too.

There's certainly nothing "saintly" about the Israelis. The WAY "right wingers" in Israel would probably just as soon NUKE everybody in the area.

I guess it's a question of whether Israel should be "allowed" to exist and under what conditions.
