Conservatives (as a political term defined by the current GOP) are sad, misguided people who fail to understand that the gift of being a human with a decent sized brain is to bring something new to the world. Conservatives take what others give them and then...nothing. They stop right there and move nothing forward. Conservatism (as a political term defined by the current GOP) is an ideology of cowardice and lack of imagination. Conservatives (...GOP) avoid facts and live in a world of fantasy. Reality scares the hell out of 'conservatives' so they pretend that there are mythical beings in the ether telling them to do this, that and the other thing and all will be well. It is a cheap parlor trick but it works....ask Lush Limpsnot. Sarah Palin, a marginal human being, absentee parent, greed meister, stalker, harasser, abuser of power and dolt is the conservative's standard-bearer these days. Reagan, as intellectually limited as he was, is rolling with Bongo in his grave at the idea. Liberalism is the ideology that gets rid of monarchy, dictatorship, feudalism, oppression, slavery and second hand smoking. Liberalism believes that everything can and should be continuously improved. Nothing is static, it is either moving forward or sliding backwards. Cheney and Nixon and Bush et al do not believe in the US Constitution which they swore to protect. They are truly evil. That you voted for all of them says something quite sad about you.
