What do you think about the tax cut portion of the stimulus package. Krugman doesnt like it because it doesnt multiply fast enough. The rebate checks didnt work last time and this will be much like that.

I think it's politically necessary to pass the package.

The tax cuts for the middle class are meant to be more psychological than anything else. I wish he wasn't dragging his feet reinstating the cuts on the rich though.
