Ted, > He's already a great president........

Really? Guess the residents of the D.C. metropolitan area don't have to worry about Inauguration Day, since Obama is already president ...

Yes, I agree.....its a waste of good money.

In case Zeev isn't lurking.....he needs to understand that I probably share the view that most people on this thread have of Hamas. That it is an org. of terrorists. Where I diverge from them is my perception of Israel......I don't think of the Israelis as very nice people either. In fact, I think over the last 100 years the Israelis have become very much like their neighbors or maybe their neighbors took on the attributes of the Zionists....I am not sure which came first since terrorism didn't start with the Arabs. For an example, both Irgun and Haganah existed as Israeli terrorist groups as early as the 1930s. Furthermore, Plan D is not a new thing......the Zionists were discussing how to deal with the Arab problem [as in getting rid of them] in the late 1930s. And if anything, the Israelis have become more aggressive, tyrannical and colonial over the years.

Its for that reason I think the US needs to pull back [no Israeli subsidies] and become a neutral arbiter in this mess, or pull back and leave the Jews and the Arabs to stew in their own juices. And unlike others, I don't believe they will destroy each other..........I think both sides like living......a lot.
