Your observation is quite accurate that this thing is drifting down on lighter than average volume, yet it loses half of the daily change in the last 5 minutes of the trading day. Someone really wants this stock to close on or near the bid. Until someone with conviction steps up and says this thing is a buy(obviously Smith Barney is excluded from this classification), this stock is growing to drift down into obscurity. Granted, I am in for the long haul with a huge position, but I think it is now in the hands of manipulating shorts. I know that the short interest is not that great (about 1.8 million shares), yet if no one is going to support the stock, the shorts are going to take it down. I don't know how long I can keep averaging down. I did buy some for 11 5/8 this morning on the opening. On another note, Fidelity owned 10% of the shares outstanding in February and then filed that they only owned 4% in april. They still own a piece and maybe could build their position back up.
