Well, so far MSFT has not made MSN much of a threat to AOL or internet related companies. Mabey that will do better this time but they will have to prove it before the market listens.

IMO Yahoo!'s a good company, it's just way overvalued.

David A. Stern, you greatly oversimplify a plethora of complex issues. 1) what is MSFT doing building an allience with a second string player that ha an inferior product? 2) were you asleep when YHOO signed deals with Compaq and others to make Yahoo the default search engine on their pc's? 3) have you seen Yahoo's incredible stock quote area with a wealth of info - way better than anything from MSFT. 4) As YHOO gains in profits - they will be quite able to handle MSFT's challenge. All in all, I think MSFT is asleep at the wheel while Yahoo is driving for a touchdown!
