Reminds me of the Cocoa Palms in Kauai. We stayed there a couple of times on visits. Hurricane Iniki nearly leveled the place, and it hasn't been rebuilt. It was situated on royal land..........there were hundreds of Royal Palms, canals and lagoons. I remember wishing we'd had the money to rent one of a few little "cabins" (in the polynesian style) that were scattered on the grounds, but we aren't made of money.

We saw it about 5 yrs ago, and it was in ruins.

Very sad!
