I'm going to back out of this one bro. JP has a great thread and (I'm not implying political discussion ruins it) I'm going to take ownership of getting us off track by talking energy. My intent was not to discuss ideology or the merits (or lack thereof) of global warming but rather the need for an energy policy. The idea being it would have financial benefits for the market and the country. Anyhow...out of respect for JP and the rest of the folks seeking true market talk I'm going to step away for the political stuff. I'm not being critical of you - none of this surfaced until I started talking about energy - this one is on me.

Sorry thread - Sorry JP

I'm going out on a limb here, but I think Caroline Kennedy probably knows that Africa is a continent, not a country. She also probably could name the countries in NAFTA.

She may not know how to field dress a moose, but if she ever ran across one in the Senate there'd probably be someone on hand who could do it for her.
