Another reason panetta is not a sensible choice to head the CIA is because he will most likely never gain control of the Agency, he has no clue about how it works... in order to direct the CIA, you need someone who has lots of operational experience, an experienced operative, not some completely uninformed political hack with no field intelligence experience, not even one hour of field work, nothing... the Agency has it's own culture, these are people who are out in the field every day risking their lives trying to penetrate very dangerous organizations... the CIA is a very big and broad Agency with field missions going in all directions, the people inside will not respect just any political hack who happens by and get appointed to head that Agency... this further demonstrates that obama himself has no idea what he's doing, he knows very little about the Agency if he thinks anyone could manage it, no less control it, panetta will be a fish out of water... I predict that panetta will eventually step down for "personal reasons"...<g> GZ
