The also have cameras that if you jump a yellow and reach the other side just as it is turning red, they send you a ticket.

People are getting paranoid and slamming on their brakes at the wrong times and causing accidents.

Speed cameras and so on create an anonymous tax, which makes it hard for the citizenry to organize and fight. Nobody knows who's paying, how many are paying, or anything. And insurance rates can jump based on tickets, so I wonder if there's some cut from that end as well.
