Republicans need to address its leadership deficit. Fast.

One of the problems the party has is that it's almost a microcosm of the rest of America in that there's the left/liberal leaning Republicans, which might also be called Republitarians - less government is good; then there's the middle roaders who can be fiscally conservative but also accept that the poor need help and understand that some of the entitlement programs are necessary; and then there's the right wing, which everyone has a different definition of who they are - religious right/silent majority/military-hawk fans/The Base, etc.

Where are they going to find someone to lead that? The scramble is on.

Whoever gets the post, be warned. Look what happened to Howard Dean. He delivered big time: president, majority senate and congress and every important state race. And did they even give him a booby prize? Nope. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Nil. Not even dog catcher. Doggone it.

Laura Ingraham is a lawyer, knows the Constitution, and is a great talk show host...doesn't try to interrupt every 3 seconds, but does manage to let the guest talk, but breaks in if the guest is just totally off base!

She's correct regarding that piece, IMO.
