10% of the PC market is a big assed market. But why didn't they get more of it?

I think it is pretty simple. AAPL was never perceived as a "business" computer. Since the early applications that sold computers were business applications, most of the software targeted the PC. Later, nobody wanted to develop for the AAPL when they could just as easily develop for the PC and have 9x the market size.
