Wasn't it the same Watson, who when offered the Rand (?) copying machine patents did a market survey, came up with a total worldwide market for max 4,000 machines and thus politely declined that offer?

Thus Rank Xerox was born and the rest is - as the saying goes - history.

Not to mention:
"One day computers will be built which weigh less than a ton".
