Here is yet more proof that brinker was far from alone in failing to foresee this bear market.

Longleaf Partners Fund, which has completely trashed the S&P over the long term, sent a letter to shareholders along with the annual statement. In the letter, they say:

"Although we recognized at the end of 2007 that credit was tightening and the burst of the housing bubble could have wide ranging repercussions...it is (now) evident that we did not anticipate the severity of the credit dislocation or the depth of the recession that followed."

smart guy octavian,

maybe if some people would have taken my suggestion to be SELLING SOMETHING during this market rally, (which of course brinker hasn't and apparently won't do, from what he has been saying), they would and WILL be better off financially.

you guys following brinker have fun sliding down the market razor blade, down the drain losing even MORE money following a failed model.

NO sell strategy, NO sell discipline, no matter what!

"market timing"

DUH!
