Absolute baloney...stick to something you say you understand...

Are you claiming the burden of pensions and health care do not weigh upon US automakers in a way not felt by the non-union foreign shops?

stick to something you say you understand...disassemblers...Figures.

I understand disassemblers, but I will be pleased to discuss financial issues with anyone here. While I've not followed the Big 3, it takes only a brief perusal of their 10K/10Q to see what the score is.

We know what the cost of the UAW relationship is and has been for years. And I can tell you that if the UAW contract were severed today and its insane expense requirements were no longer a factor, you would lenders standing in line to hand over money to GM and the others.

Eliminating the UAW takes these businesses from "troubled" to totally clean, overnight.

Anyone who cannot see this either lacks any knowledge of business, or simply doesn't want the unions to get their due. Either way, you're wrong if you can't see this.
