Dave:
First, I am NOT a short seller, just an interested (in a non-financial way) observer. All I've ever asked, basically, is "show me the money" in regards to this company. It matters not one iota, in my mind, that the co-founders have such a stellar past record. What have they done for shareholders in the decade plus existence of the company? Many press releases have been issued mentioning strategic alliances and the like, but let me pose to you one simple question - have the strategic alliances, distribution agreements and the like ever yielded even one dollar in product revenue? This is not innuendo, merely a question begging for an answer.

>I believe it amounts to financial terrorism when lies and innuendo are spread about a company in an
attempt to profit from shorting shares in the victim/company. I've seen it happen to Diana Corp
(DNAK), Solv-Ex (SOLVQ), the "Cold Ease" company, Osicom (FIBR) and of course, COPY. Thus far
the regulators have not taken any action even in cases where illegalities were discovered, documented, and
reported. I am hopeful that efforts to rectify this pattern of "looking the other way" by NASD and the
SEC will yield results in the very near future.<

Yes, fortunately for the >proprietors< of these companies, the SEC has yet to take action. How bout those boys over at Oxford Health? They sure gave it a good ride, making sure of course to sell out before the sh.. hit the fan. Shall we blame that one on the nefarious short sellers too? As I told Dom in months past, watch what you wish for as it may come true. (Actually, I know am only criticizing Diana and Solv-Ex above. I too cannot recall the name of the company with the zinc cold remedy, but I only remember it benefiting from the hype of others. As far as COPY, no fraud here. They make sure never to lie in an SEC filing, where no promises are ever made. They have henchman, some paid, some not, to whisper their lies.)
