good catch Xy!! I agree there is some similarity to 1995 but the difference is that something new call internet has shown up and this will drive tech stocks to higher level. In 1995 it was windows 95 coming which drove the stocks to higher levels. Now it is the age old reason that PC business in general will be strong if that is not the case then we will have a correction but I really doubt it.

Some Funds are fearful that the downturn seen from 1995 to 1996 is going to repeat itself; that's why they are dumping AMAT. If the stock should slide to 30, a 45% correction (Big Bucks may finally get the price he is wishing for), there is no stopping there, the stock might as well go down to 19 to complete a 63% correction---just like what happened before when the stock slide from 60 to 22...
