Not really. The GAO after pushed and pushed by Bob Barr, spent like a hundred thousand dollars pursuing claims by the Republican staff.

In answering your question, I read a significant amount of the GAO's 220 page report.

They did find that some pranks were played, and according to the report, 62 keyboards had been replaced in January of 2001, and that "multiple people" had reported that they "computer keyboards with missing or damaged “W”
keys." It was based on stories told by people several months after the story became a hit in the press six months before.

And, according to the report itself: "Although it is clear that some of the reported incidents were intentional, such as the removal and damaging of keys on computer keyboards, it was unclear whether, in all cases, the reported incidents occurred, when they occurred, how many occurred, and
who was responsible for them."

What we know is 62 keyboards were replaced at the time of transition... but there are 1,000 employees at the White House! You wouldn't expect that in an office of 1,000 people, many of whom have worked for several years, several keyboards would be replaced during a mass staff turnover?

The six-figure investigation by the Republicans turned up $15,000 in repair expenses related to the transition. Some of them were clearly incurred due to pranks. Some just due to the damage of 1,000 people working in an office for eight years. That's $15 a person.

I know you hate hearing it, but there is no there there.
