Under bush, the US has made many mistakes. The "teds" of the world want us to adopt the "intellectual euro model." I want us to learn from our mistakes but not discard what got us to this point as a nation. Takeaways from iraq, katrina, economy are how to get back to a rational fp and a strong economy. Euros takeaway from their problems are often inaction at home and appeasement abroad. This is what we are seeing again. Our future as a nation is East--its the conundrum of a growing china now lacking human rights, an indian democracy lacking discipline and order, a resurgent Russia that needs to be engaged and not turned anymore inward than it now is and an a robust East Europe that needs to temper its drive for full autonomy and independence with the reality of the bear on their border. Western europe and even Britain are in the process of surrendering to their internal fifth columnists to avoid further conflicts. Socialists lead this move toward anti-semitism and appeasement.
To Ted they look like intellectuals--to me like cowards, trading in all thats good about the west so the old folks (not their 1.2 kids per family) can zip their latte and drink their wine and take the last dollars in welfare (the last bubble in europe) before they turn over their 1.2 kids to the islamists who will quickly dispose of them. Picture the young Parisian gal in a burka--nuff said.

If you think about it, they have many "gods."

If you think about it so do you.
