iso: I agree with your conclusions... but wonder how long before we see them... I think of a few scenarios where the dollar continues at least sideways and deflation lingers a lot longer than would seem possible... the end game will arrive, but the big question is when...

3rd Q is my best WAG based purely on macro events...

For now, not doing much but twiddling my fingers (which feels strange when you are sitting on your hands)... have a short list of stocks I'd like to buy/add when the time is right, but it isn't now...

I need to get my head back into the daily/weekly game and try swing trades again.

We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better...stronger...faster.”

to put this in perspective......Americans thought the world as they knew it had come to an end in 1934.....

in a way it had.....

the fact that the gov confiscated gold and annulled contracts and expanded into the private sector in ways thought impossible just a few years before convinced many we were on the brink....

the dollar today is worth only pennies compared to 1929

but we came back....better ...stronger...faster

we maintained social stability while others did not.

we can do it again....
shattered dreams are not the end of the world.....

the stock market was never meant for the masses and its just as well they get booted from it......

it will be painfull......

what does not kill you can make you stronger.

we can feed ourselves.....we can house ourselves...

energy can be found at a price.....

with good sense and a bit of luck we will come out of this......

good sense demands we avoid demagogues.....

the luck part speaks for its self.....

i say this because we have had high taxes before and can survive having them again....and our deficit is not bad compared to some.

i say all this from italy ....an eternal financial basket case that has survived currency crisis, home based terrorism ,political instability ,wide spread institutional corruption, pervasive organized crime and rampant inflation and a gov.deficit that makes the US look like an example of fiscal integrity
