The questions Couric asked were simplistic.....and predictable. Palin was awful. As she had been with Gibson before. But is still in denial about drifting off into reverey about Putin's head rising over Alaska....etc.

If you feel the woman descried as "Ellie Mae Clampett" by a consrvative commentator, and spokeswoman for the anti-intellectual branch of the republican party, is the future of the party, we have to just agree to disagree.

The South and Alaska are not enough to win any national election.

If memory serves me, Gov. Palin confessed to being miffed about some of the Couric questions in an interview soon after the fact with Carl Cameron and implied that she probably should have answered them differently.....

It sort of reminds me of a time in college when some jackass asked a foreign student if they lived in houses in Colombia....the answer came back, "No man, we live in trees!"
