Do NOT GIVE OUT CERTIFICATE NUMBERS TO THESE GUYS!
It is very easy for the SHORTS to grab your information then.
Name, Address, SSN, etc.

Joe,

I didn't have time today to talk to the former TA, as you might imagine. But let's assume the TA wanted to get out more certificates than their printers could handle, or there was a printer failure. If I owned the business, I'd do whatever it takes to get them out the door.
I'm not saying that is the real answer, but it could make a lot of sense. I can ask about specifics if anyone here can give me the certificate numbers and dates.

I'm really not sure it is an issue, but I'll try to find out.

Mike,

Your theory could hold water. :>) But for how long would you allow your printer to be down and why were there other certs that were being printed on the working pc printers?

You certainly had time before when you thoguht there was dirt to be dug up. I think the printers could handle certs much more quickly than manual typing. Also why if the printers failed did every other stock get printed but ours were typed?

No your answer makes no sense. Please readdress this issue.
