Luckily, I haven't heard the talkin' TV heads on Doomberg or CNBS lately, so I couldn't tell you if they were fretting over earnings or not. No doubt the rhetoric has been rising over the internet and in the printed press!

We could easily ramp back up here. Whether that starts tomorrow or a few days from now. Short term, we've sold pretty hard the past couple of days, so it shouldn't surprise too many people out there if we start going up as the news hits.

With respect to semis, I just think we'll have another round of sell the news. The recent gains seen in Don's charts are too good to ignore, imo. Too good, too early, therefore take profits. That's all. (EDIT: take profits may be too generous, more like take what little has been given lately)

I have assumed that some of the hardest hit stocks that cratered into Nov's plunge have seen their worst hits. However, there were plenty of stocks that did not get treated as harshly with the "ugly stick" which will have another chance to take a serious beating.

I think the market has at least one more hard sell off in it short term future (next few weeks to 3 months). I have seen little to dissuade me from this view but I am very open to being wrong on this one!!
