In his recent press conference President Bush said, "look, I inherited a recession..." But you have already declared: "However, if one is not a partisan hack, then you would acknowledge that the criteria for determining when an economy is in recession has not been met...i.e., two consecutive quarters of negative growth....." So Bush says we had a recession in 2001. You say he must be a partisan hack because 2001 didn't meet your alleged criteria. So how does a stand up straight shooter like you resolve a situation like this? Obviously admitting you were wrong and that you have been lying in an effort to cover up your error isn't an option. So how do you handle a situation like this? Attack me? Will that be your cunning escape? SD
