horgad, I'm still thinking about this. I agree to lock for your primary residence, but I'm not sure about anything more speculative. I need to do more work and timing will be everything. GT TH

Debt is and will be poisonous for years to come. We are in deflation and there does not appear to be anything the powers that be can do about it. You will be paying off any loan you take on now with increasingly scarce and valuable currency. Just the opposite of what has gone on for the last thirty years under an inflationary regime. If you have debt, than refinancing at a lower rate is imperative, but paying it off is much better. Get out of debt. SD
