AlienTech: Actually, I make about a third of my money that way, a third from my analysis/neural net/chartist/math/psych background, and a third from a combination of my speculation on news/events/economic factors about where a company will be in the near to mid term. The easy part is finding out what's going on 'behind the scenes'. The hard part is translating that information into viable stock picks. lastshadow btw, Hang Seng open a short while ago, and it looks to keep going down some more today. But, if it starts to improve in their afternoon, our day may not do badly. The real question will be when the currency speculators think its time to start buying back in...
