Yes, the dishonesty of those lock step lefties claiming to be liberal has gotten blatant. It is upsetting to someone like me who actually has an open mind to considering new and novel ideas, who values diverse perspectives, or who is willing to challenge the dogma of conventional wisdom. That used to be a qualification of claiming to be a liberal.

Liberals are no more likely to go over the edge than conservatives but I tend to agree with you that the one's attracted to this thread seem to be living very strange fantasy lives.

When liberals are able to stand on principles found at the core of their ideological camp, they thrive on a course of change and renewal, in a spirit of collegiality among similarly vested conservatives.
