I think they are totally paralyzed with fear that Obama, by merely being a competent president, with the (D) congress, will hilight just how BAD (R) rule was. It's leading to all sorts of acting out, on the threads here and in the public eye.

Do you care at all, even a slight little bit, if there is anything factual behind your statements? Did you catch any of Bush's final press conference? As you know, I hate listening to him speak but I decided to give it a go one last time. And its just like this thread......his view: he did nothing wrong. One of things he focused on was Katrina and kept repeating over and over that the federal response was a fast and good one. The wingers are doing what they have done so often in the past.....first go into denial, then rewrite history. However, this time it ain't going to work.......most Americans were rudely awaken during the past 3 years and have been paying very close attention. Even members of Bush's own party are saying he needs to go quietly into the nite. Unfortunately, that ain't going to happen.......Bush has the asked the channels for air time Thursday nite. :-((
